Sandra and Michael's holiday home

Our modern holiday home in Bremerhaven was completed in September 2023 and offers 120 m² of space for up to 4 adults. 2 extra beds for children are available.

We wanted to create something sustainable and opted for a timber frame house. Wood is a renewable raw material and can be recycled. The high energy efficiency due to the good insulation values are a prerequisite for fulfilling KFW 40+ standards.

All rooms are located on the ground floor. The house consists of a spacious living area with dining room and open-plan kitchen, which is equipped with a cooking island. From this area you have access to the two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.

The bedrooms are furnished with double beds and wardrobes with mirrors. One bathroom has a bathtub and the other has a walk-in shower.

There is a cloakroom in the entrance area. There is also a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing board.

The house has a garage for one car. There is also a charging station for electric cars that can be used for a fee.

The house is heated by an air heat pump and is equipped with a generously dimensioned PV system (11.1 kWp). A storage tank has 5 kWh and thus provides a sufficient buffer when the sun is not shining.

An automatic ventilation system ensures a pleasant indoor climate.
